CAREER OPPORTUNITIES AT PROJECT MANAGEMENT UNIT (PMU) OF APNI CHHAT APNA GHAR (ACAG), PHATA
The Punjab Housing & Town Planning Agency (PHATA), Government of Punjab, invites applications from qualified and experienced individuals domiciled in Punjab for various contract-based positions (Non-Transferable) within the Project Management Unit of the APNI CH HAT APNA GHAR PROGRAM (ACAG). ACAG is a flagship program of the Government of Punjab aimed at providing 100,000 housing units to the low-income segment of society across Punjab in 4 & half years. The Housing, Urban Development & Public Health Engineering Department is the administrative department. while PHATA is the executing agency for the ACAG program.
Job Responsibilities:
- Lead planning and implementation of project.
- Management of the strategic aspects of the project.
- Oversee senior specialist and specialist working on various works teams under the program components.
- Liaison with other relevant departments inside and outside the province.
- Ensure that the program activities are conducted in strict
- Compliance with prevalent rules & regulations of program.
- Overall, in charge and team leader of the program for successful completion within time schedule and approved budget.
- Ensure compliance and implementation of rules and regulations issued by the provincial Governments, especially regarding social and environmental aspects.
- To develop and lead program monitoring, coordination and evaluation strategy in line with quality and performance standards.
- Development and implementation of strategic objectives for practice that are aligned with the Government of Punjab’s policies and directions. Regularly reports, to and keep the secretariat up-to date on program’s progress and implementation issues.
