CAREER OPPORTUNITIES AT PROJECT MANAGEMENT UNIT (PMU) OF APNI CHHAT APNA GHAR (ACAG), PHATA
The Punjab Housing & Town Planning Agency (PHATA), Government of Punjab, invites applications from qualified and experienced individuals domiciled in Punjab for various contract-based positions (Non-Transferable) within the Project Management Unit of the APNI CH HAT APNA GHAR PROGRAM (ACAG). ACAG is a flagship program of the Government of Punjab aimed at providing 100,000 housing units to the low-income segment of society across Punjab in 4 & half years. The Housing, Urban Development & Public Health Engineering Department is the administrative department. while PHATA is the executing agency for the ACAG program.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough market analysis to identify suitable locations for low-income housing projects.
  • Assess market trends, pricing, and demand for affordable housing.
  • Implementation of feasibility studies to evaluate the potential of proposed housing projects.
  • Analyze financial, environmental, and social aspects to ensure project viability.
  • Identify and negotiate the acquisition of land suitable for low-income housing.
  • Work closely with government bodies.
  • Collaborate with architects, engineers, and urban planners to design and develop housing projects.
  • Ensure projects comply with local regulations and standards.
  • Develop and manage project budgets, ensuring cost-effectiveness and financial sustainability.
  • Explore and secure funding options
  • Liaise with government agencies, non-profits, and community organizations to foster partnerships.
  • Communicate with stakeholders to ensure project goals align with community needs.
  • Ensure all projects comply with relevant laws, regulations, and policies.
  • Stay updated on changes in housing and real estate regulations.
  • Prepare detailed reports and presentations for stakeholders and project sponsors.
  • Maintain comprehensive project documentation and records.
  • Any other task assigned by the Program Director.

Minimum Education

Bachelor’s degree in Real Estate, Urban Planning, Business Administration, or a related field. A Master’s degree is preferred. Professional certification in real estate (e.g., Real Estate License, Certified Real Estate Advisor) is an advantage.

Experience Required

Minimum of 12 years of experience in real estate, property management, or a related field. Proven track record of successful real estate transactions and client advisory. Experience in market analysis, property valuation, and investment assessment.
