CAREER OPPORTUNITIES AT PROJECT MANAGEMENT UNIT (PMU) OF APNI CHHAT APNA GHAR (ACAG), PHATA
The Punjab Housing & Town Planning Agency (PHATA), Government of Punjab, invites applications from qualified and experienced individuals domiciled in Punjab for various contract-based positions (Non-Transferable) within the Project Management Unit of the APNI CH HAT APNA GHAR PROGRAM (ACAG). ACAG is a flagship program of the Government of Punjab aimed at providing 100,000 housing units to the low-income segment of society across Punjab in 4 & half years. The Housing, Urban Development & Public Health Engineering Department is the administrative department. while PHATA is the executing agency for the ACAG program.
Job Responsibilities:
- Provide knowledge support including presentation of regional best practices.
- Provide technical support for the ACAG Program.
- Contribute to the identification of major factors influencing the strategy development as well as the development of new schemes, focusing on transportation links, quality of urban infrastructure, and the quality of the urban environment.
- Assess the current and expected demand for urban infrastructure and services in proposed schemes in Punjab and make broad estimates of financing requirements.
- Liaison with PHATA and HUD where required.
- Liaison with, and oversee engineering firms (consultants) regarding design of housing units/apartments and development of municipal infrastructure networks for ACAG housing schemes
- Any other task assigned by the Program Director.
